I cry a little inside every day knowing I'll never get to go to a Jimi XP, Who, PF, Beatles, Doors, Zeppelin, Skynyrd, or any of the other greats and wish every day I was born in 1950 and could grow up to be part of that... you forget that 75% of kids in my highschool don't even listen to good rap (Pac Nas Big) they prefer the radio tunes.

May 8, 2012 - Well I gotta say, despite the musical deprivation that you are a victim of-you appear to be very aware and cool. The bands you listed were all great, but if you really appreciate blistering guitar, blended with real melodic content, then here are a few more; UFO, Montrose, Pat Travers, Jeff Beck, Foghat, RUSH, Steve Vai, Satriani. I have seen all of these guys live. Some are still around and others not. Some you may like and some not so much. Listen at high volume.
