Sep 17, 2011 - yes you're right, I've seen another video at the age of 9 where I can see clearly he has blue eyes.. (Elijah Wood - First Time) !! I wasn't sure because there's a few websites that say he wears cosmetic lenses but maybe it's misunderstood with clear lenses.

Feb 5, 2012 - I wouldn't be surprised if that thing about Elijah not being able to close his eyes is true ... there was a behind the scenes video from LOTR and all the other hobbits are talking about how blind Elijah is, and the thing is, if you sleep with your eyes open, your eyesight gets very bad because your brain is still trying to use them even in the dark, and while you're sleeping ... that's how my right eye got messed up ...
