Jul 30, 2009 - Hi.Yeah, it's the walnut top. It's my main bass for a long time now; really a keeper. They are a bit pricey, but you get a fundamental, even and smooth sounding intrument. The b string is amazing, the best I know. I really like the neck, I find it perfectly comfortable; I don't really see a big difference compared to a wooden one. The graphite neck is just totally even and smooth. No irregularities whatsoever. Modulus should give me something for raving about this bass like this :-)
