OlympicScientist Says:

Nov 28, 2010 - A lot of Feynman's stories about his father have inspired me to do a lot of these things with my son. My wee boy isn't top of the class because he messes about too much, but every single teacher has said he is a step above most. And best of all, if you can do this, you get such a great bond with your kids. He just recently came up with an idea similar to the anthropic principle on his own. "we wouldnt be to see it if it was different" wonderful man for so many reasons.

Vejita12 Says:

Dec 16, 2010 - If he "believed" that it was senseless to do anything, that means he changed his mind up to the time of that interview, and I wonder what was it that changed that particular point of view, cause right now, when I look at the World and the general situation in the World, I almost know that we will destroy ourselfs if not in another religion war then in another war for power.

mafiamitzy Says:

Jan 9, 2011 - I truly believe that if education was reformed to fit people's interests at all times,, a lot more people could become as smart as he is. Sadly, 90% of the population doesn't give a fuck about learning stuff.

Olsonic Says:

Jan 18, 2011 - You're right, we weren't actually in a war. We must have been pretending.I think you disqualified yourself from any serious moral argument by stating the people who scare you the most are the ones who try to minimize human suffering.

elimik31 Says:

Jan 26, 2011 - Feynman doesn't need a uniform to be respected. I would even admire him if he hadn't got the nobel prize, another type of uniform btw. He himself didn't like it.

0RobinHood1 Says:

Jan 28, 2011 - LMAO at what he said at the end

InnerSmile72 Says:

Feb 1, 2011 - word. the nobel prizes have noble origins, but we're all getting sick of hearing about it. "Nobel laureate Luc Montiger teleports DNA!" etc. Calls for science and reason apply to philosophical and moral issues too

chizhr Says:

Feb 28, 2011 - Nobel prize is not a uniform (at least in physics). It is given for "Something" and this "Something" defines Feynman as on of greatest physicist. Personally I don't take into account Nobel Prize too much, but rather this thing that he did which was awarded by this honor.

theep16 Says:

Mar 1, 2011 - who would ever down vote this!

bobstevefrank123 Says:

Apr 8, 2011 - Ordinary meant down to earth, not a stereotypical pompous physicist.

Kaeralho Says:

May 8, 2011 - odds are that people who clicked dislike, actually missed the like button. and this natural resultant is so much stronger and relevant than what moves someone who deliberately clicks dislike

brajamtho757 Says:

May 12, 2011 - I don't understand his explanation of why he didn't like some explanations of algebra.

sivaprasad2020 Says:

May 15, 2011 - the moment of silence....at 08:34 is that guilt ? Outstanding, brilliant, humane and very down to earth..

GuitarMannnnnn Says:

May 23, 2011 - Holy crap, the more I listen to this guy, the better I feel about understanding concepts all together.

porkypine1888 Says:

Jul 6, 2011 - Such an interesting man.

KokotTheMonkey Says:

Aug 6, 2011 - Shut your word-bag!

vxt1024 Says:

Aug 11, 2011 - Last part is same as what J.krishnamurti said.

vanflymen Says:

Aug 29, 2011 - This man is not extraordinary... he is ordinary, ordinary in that he is the way a man should be. This is a great man.

Jipzorowns Says:

Sep 8, 2011 - The brilliance is; many people believe you need to have a super high IQ, for example 160, to become a great thinker or physicist. He "only" had an IQ of 124. He is a BIG inspiration.

KayAteChef Says:

Dec 21, 2011 - Christ almighty I wish some people had word bags and quotas.

CassidyzBoo Says:

Jan 20, 2012 - Losers who are not smart enough to appreciate the wonderful feeling of insight.

cjs2964 Says:

Feb 12, 2012 - Its a shame that videos like this have so few views when the mindless bullshit on youtube gets millions.

JTCGiantz56 Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - Feynman was a bafoon

gamegloss Says:

Apr 12, 2012 - Says the person who can't spell buffoon. Maybe he was a buffoon. I never met the man so I don't feel it's my place to judge. Based on his writings and the video footage available on youtube, however, it's safe to judge that he was an incredibly kind and ferociously intelligent man with a charmingly unique perspective on the world. Still, he could have been a buffoon in person. He could have been many things. It's certainly not impossible. But how could you possibly know?

ItunesTopSongs Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - This is so true, I've been stuck in high school for the past 4 years doing subjects I'll never end up doing, wasting thousands of hours. I only like maths and physics, due to school not giving a shit I have to use my spare time at home to study multi-variable calculus and quantum entanglement.
