Unfortunately, this looks exactly the same. They choose two or three areas in which to make the game great, at the expensive of all the others. I'm tired of half-asked 4X games. :( Whoever comes up with something truly breakthrough; takes -all- the best aspects out there and combines them... they'll be the ones who win this genre.

May 5, 2011 - B) don't get that this is a 4x game...something that is turn based (there for not a rts game you morons -.-). something that has 1 game that lasts for about a week (if your good), i'm talking thousands of turns to complete total domination over the galaxy. If you're not ready for that, then don't bother to even look at the genre and stick to RTS and FPS titles, it's fast and it's fun to play. 4x is a tactical warfare and management at it's finest level, so don't bitch if you can't play it.

Apr 20, 2012 - this game is shit and does not deserve to exist. its too simple and not challenging at all. its my first 4x game and it doesnt come near to what ive expected.after a couple of rounds (100+) it turns into a nightmare of boredom. the ai is so shitty i cant even describe it. the tech-tree is uncreative... argh... a yt comment isnt long enough to describe how this game sucks. dont buy it.at least the 2d-universe-map is cute. the 3d graphics suck so bad that you just want to calculate the outcome
