May 25, 2012 - @guutoalmeida Melanie has been recording songs for her album. Simon has said they don't want to rush and put out any record. He wants her take up to a year and pick good songs and make sure it is a great record. I think they want it to debut around the time xfactor 2 starts. I know, the wait it killing me but I hope it's worth it and that the album is well received. It sure would be nice to drop a single though! She is performing in the BVI this weekend, I wonder what she is going to sing...

May 25, 2012 - She has been recording her album. I think they will debut it around the time xfactor 2 starts in the fall. There will be lots of excitement then. Simon always said not to rush it and throw an album together just for the sake of putting one out. He wants to make sure it is a great record. From what I have read, they have some really great producers working with her. It makes sense, but the wait is killing me. Can't wait to hear that voice again!!!!

May 26, 2012 - Im sorry but i dont think she shouldve won, shes a great singer, but thats all she is, Chris Rene is an ARTIST, not just a great singer but he makes music writes lyrics and sings and i think thats what x factor is, not just a singing competition...but the whole deal.
