Jan 2, 2012 - there isnt a difference between a street fight and a martial arts fight. just because it's a street fight doens mean your pain threshold goes up by 10 times. i hate when people say "that would never work in a real fight". im sorry, i wasnt aware this was a fake fight.

Jan 2, 2012 - actually theres a huge difference. adrenaline. adrenaline levels are not usually the same. so pain threshold might not up by x10 but it goes up significantly because of adrenaline, hence why i asked the question.

Jan 3, 2012 - im a mixed martial artist too. there's a huge difference,adrenaline is not the same at all. the fear that your life can be in immediate danger on the street raises your adrenaline why higher then in most ma bouts.plus you warm up before ma fights get your blood pumping etc your much calmer in ma fights. dont even try to compare the two. have you ever had a street fight? it doesnt seem like it. most street fights don't last more than 1 minute. think about that

Jan 3, 2012 - well then it seems we must agree to disagree. or atleast agree that different people respond in different ways. because i can keep my cool either way, its how ive always been. i would say most street fight last under 1 minute because its less starategic and more of a haymaker competition.
