The Bible is actually worse on most things (e.g. genocide, stoning unchaste brides and disrespectful children to death etc) in my opinion, it's just that very few people take the shittiest portions of the Bible seriously anymore. The Qur'an's nauseatingly repetitive references to hellfire are somewhat worse than the Bible's own mentions of eternal torture though.

We finally got smart and pulled our military base out of Saudi Arabia in 2003.
