Title: Ramble On - Foo Fighters, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones

Added: Jun 8, 2008

Author: JodhiD

Duration: 3:52

Description:
At Wembley Stadium (7th June, 2008), Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones guested with Foo Fighters for their encore. The second track they played was the Led Zeppelin classic Ramble On.This video is a series of short clips I filmed spliced together. Far from perfect, but it's the best I could manage whilst being jostled and having security drag people out over my head :-DHope you enjoy!I also have over five minutes of Rock 'n' Roll, but it isn't showing up on YouTube searches (and I have no idea why). You can click through on my username, or view it from this link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9q1wRZHnc0

Dec 7, 2011 - Few bands are worthy of covering Zeppelin. Foo Fighters are one.

Dec 7, 2011 - jimmy page looks like bilbo baggins. what a hero. i think thats an appropriate comparison considering how many times zeppelin references lord of the rings in their songs.

Jan 10, 2012 - if Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones like the Foos, i might have to get over it and accept them. (still in grunge era denial from 1990)

Jan 14, 2012 - I've got the concert DVD with FooFighters and Jimmy Page. The stage rotates as well. Great concert footage. Dave Grohl does a great vocal job. The drummer also sang a single and did well. Lots of songs are on the DVD, and made me realize how far David Grohl has come from when he was younger. The drummer kicks ass!

Feb 11, 2012 - The Foo Fighters should release a Double CD of all great 70s and 80s rock songs (60s too).

lusthog73 Says:

Feb 19, 2012 - This is why Dave Grohl should stay behind a drum kit where he belongs. Oh yeah, and just fold the Foo Fighter tents and play with Them Crooked Vultures full time.

deadboy600 Says:

Mar 12, 2012 - Foo Fighters are a pretentious little twat band that get a shit load more praise than they deserve. If Grohl wasnt the drummer for one of the biggest rock bands in history, "Foo Fighters" would have been laughed at and told to go home. Theyre mediocre at best. Soft faggy pop bullshit center with a crusty, lame rock n' roll shell.

TheAvailable43 Says:

Apr 12, 2012 - I love the Foo Fighters but really...you can't best Robert Plant. Not really the right song for Dave Grohl.
