Coach Terekhova tries hard to bring back traditional Kirov style with her students. But sadly no one can nail glorious entrechat six like her and assemlbles battus in between or clear double rond de jambe en l'air are so many times lost.

May 16, 2012 - no because when you do any type of turn in ballet or pretty much many things you do this thing called spotting you choose a spot and you try to keep your focus their as long as you can and then get it back as soon as you can

May 21, 2012 - that is true I am a classically trained Vaganova technique dancer who is going off to learn the Balanchine method at CPYB and it seems like I can maintain focus more than others who are not trained in Ballet.

I want to one day be one of these dancers that people just like you and I can go onto youtube and one day look up to me and I want to inspire people with dance but sadly I am 17 year old male with only two and half years of training so I probably if I am lucky will only ever be a dancer in the corps de ballet.

Vaganova training behind you and Balanchine method to come - hard, hard work, absorbing as much from teachers as possible, and staying injury-free could get you beyond the corps. Go flat out for it so that I amy see you on yt! My time was years ago, before computers!
