AlrightyAaron Says:
Mar 15, 2012 - haha that's kinda stupid how this car is made in Mexico and Canada... I thought this was an American born muscle car haha
benzlover55 Says:
Mar 20, 2012 - HEMI's are made in mexico!?!?!?!?! I not buying one of these untill they make in America, fuck the auto industry, how can they call it and American Muscle Car if it's NOT MADE IN THE US???
niotadave Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - Instrument cluster-Huntsville, AL; Dashboard assembly-Waverly, OH; Seats-Cadiz, KY. Those are just the components I know about through working for a Chattanooga, TN company that did some of the tooling. Brampton only does the final assembly; there is plenty of US content on board.
jpmac098 Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - 'Cause it's an American design... It is stupid, but it's how the world works now. Get over it.
benzlover55 Says:
Mar 23, 2012 - Typed words misconstrue the intention of the writer. I wasn't hung up about it, not really.
TechniforUSA Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - At 30:18-22 of the video you will see an etching/dot-peen/ micro-percussion machine marking a number and 2D code. The V/O erroneously says it's a laser, but this compact head is a Technifor micro-percussion machine.
Cowus23 Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - i believe the transmition is made in the US.. at least my buddies 300C transmission is and i think its the same used in the challenger
FliegenKlappen Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - Canadian Car factories always have a better quality rating then American ones anyways, so I dont get why people are whining, they are prolly built better in canada then they would be here. This is globalization at work, the whole world is like this, even some bmws are made in south carolina so how are they german, same thing with volkswagens made in puebla mexico, das auto my ass more like si senior mas auto
roywhiteo5 Says:
May 1, 2012 - detroit iron made in canada and mexico
roywhiteo5 Says:
May 1, 2012 - i hate that they say high performance so many times. it dosent seem like means anything anymore
HI6HROLLA Says:
May 17, 2012 - Look inside your home. Point out one this that's made in the US. You'll be lucky if you find one. Because if it were all made here you couldn't afford it. If the HEMI was made in the States it would be more expensive, thus making it not affordable for you and I. Now you said how can they call it an (not and) American Muscle car. Well Mexico and Canada are a part of North America, thus making the Challenger an American muscle.
benzlover55 Says:
May 19, 2012 - The Challenger is hardly "affordable", every dealer I've been to is asking 45k or more. And fair enough, loosely speaking, it's still an American car, if not specifically one made entirely in the United States.
benzlover55 Says:
May 19, 2012 - My caps have given you the mistaken impression that I'm angry. I'm not, I just find it quite "funky" that they bill it as "100% 'MURICAN" when, in reality, it isn't. Not really, anyway.
jpmac098 Says:
May 20, 2012 - Haha well no one likes Challengers anyway xD Well at least I don't... Lol but seriously it wasn't only that caps that made me think you were angry it was your whole comment.
benzlover55 Says:
May 25, 2012 - In retrospect I can see where you got that lol.
chaosthecreator Says:
May 25, 2012 - thats one factory in mexco out of ten in the U.S.
