On the other hand, sometimes I think that there is a small percentage of people whom are either very strong-willed or perhaps genetically predisposed to be more resistant to brainwashing. There is a psychological study which shows that peer-pressure can cause one to alter their memories of their own past. So maybe you're just among the minority who is resistant?
