Jan 22, 2012 - raw files can not be seen by standard image viewers. raw files are like digital negatives. they must be developed with a programm (e.g. gimp). this is why it's called "raw". ;-) otherwise you can save images directly in jpeg.videos are saved in h.264. you need a codec for this. google helps.

Mar 14, 2012 - bothe rubbish...the HS20 EXR feels very light in your hands and pretty cheap when compared with the older, tough and for sure much better Fuji S100FS with bigger sensor and much better macro capabilities....the SONY - ultra too much MPx on a little sensor, no RAW, no hotshoe for the external flash - useless .... I wouldn´t buy any of these two ... may be the Fuji X-S 1 could be the right one with bigger 2/3" sensor with acceptable 12 Mpx (less would be better) and great macro mode from 1 cm.

Mar 28, 2012 - you can shoot pics in jpeg. or raw.in jpeg the camera will take lots of " pictur-information" away cause the settigs of the camera.( auto.mode! )in raw you will have a "negative" with much more information on it. it´s important if you´ll work with photoshop ore something like that.most " pro`s " make their images in raw-format.sorry for my english, i´m german...;o)
