Mar 27, 2012 - As a locally born Singaporean, I have to admit that I am unable to connect to this song at all. It is just as good as listening to typical one-hit wonder high-class English song. Listen once and forget it. But If it were the past NDP songs that play (1980s to 1990s), I could feel the familiarity immediately and adrenaline rush through my body. One by one it plays, it just makes me want to stand up and encourage the rest to stand up as well and sing my heart out for Singapore.
