Apr 10, 2012 - Damn, this specific tutorial is really hard to understand :/ But that's probably just me.
phaitonify Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - you meant days instead of years or? i calculated it and it says 307 days
chancerogers85 Says:
Apr 17, 2012 - The points in this video were very easy to understand. But the layout of the math.pow() variable confused me.
R3v3ng3R3c0rdZ Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - i dont either
chancerogers85 Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - @R3v3ng3R3c0rdZ I just found it out :D in the math.pow() perameters, the first variable is the base and the second variable seperated by the comma is the exponent. (Ex: math.pow(5,3); is the same as 5³)
hthan2008 Says:
Apr 19, 2012 - what is Math.pow ??? How do I know when to use it?
hthan2008 Says:
Apr 19, 2012 - thanks
GreatYeazy Says:
Apr 21, 2012 - Math.pow(1+rate,day) is the same as (1+rate) ^ day
FearzTruth Says:
Apr 22, 2012 - It's just exponents (i.e. x squared [x^2]) and such.
DerpNarwhal Says:
Apr 24, 2012 - Whats the difference between double and float?
hthan2008 Says:
Apr 25, 2012 - thx
MyStuff774 Says:
Apr 28, 2012 - double is more precise than float. if you look it up you'll understand what i mean
BaerPaedo Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - oh oh ouch IM LEARNING MATHS..
ukatam Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - It's over 9000!!!!

May 8, 2012 - It's really smart to go back 4-5 videos and rewatch them all. Sometimes your brain misses important stuff, like mine :p

May 13, 2012 - first year doing JAVA.... Bucky taught me so much, m becoming a pro....
JaZoNAsSaSsOn Says:
May 21, 2012 - I'm not saying bucky isn't great, but your calculations are wrong. According to this it would of taken him 306 days to gain that many subscribers. DAYS, not years.
colmul1 Says:
May 21, 2012 - Bucky has thought me a hell of a lot more than my programming lecturer!
Ghand0ur Says:
May 27, 2012 - Its epic taking that in class before the tutorial and saying the rule before bucky :P
poo2thegeek Says:
May 27, 2012 - Well then... dont try setting this program to 100 days... you just get" 2.0959155637813845E8"
guitarizeable Says:
May 28, 2012 - Guys if you didn't understand the formula, here is the easier one;principal=principal + principal*rate;and change the "amount" inside the println with "principal".
gammaworld Says:
May 28, 2012 - It would take 306 DAYS to reach 210k

PlayingThisGame Says:
Apr 9, 2012 - Sorry to rain on your parade, but it would be 306 days.
