Feb 21, 2012 - The actual book Alice in Wonderland is about Lewis Carroll's wife's hardships as she slowly slipped into insanity. That's why everything's so fucked up. That doesn't stop it from being an amazing movie, though. I'm pretty sure every Disney movie has some sort of trippy shit or just something flat out wrong in them. You just never realize it until you grow up and watch them again.

Feb 21, 2012 - I always thought it was funny, though. If she was going to follow the path, why didn't she just follow the dog. I mean, he was sweeping the path after all, so obviously if she followed it it would've been the same as following the path itself. Lol.

Apr 3, 2012 - as she is coming to learn more about herself, she is maturing and overcoming the confusion of adolescence. Even though she might be hammered from that mushroom earlier, it still helps her come to a discovery so powerful, it changes her perspective on herself, and her perspective on the world. As she sobers up through this discovery, the ridiculousness of her surroundings dissapear and she see's what she needs to see in order to get out of there.
