Apr 22, 2009 - Pretty much the same propaganda we have in the United States. The problem is misunderstanding of supply and demand. When you legalize drugs they dramatically drop in value and it no longer becomes profitable to smuggle drugs into countries. Beyond that, out patient drug treatment is cheaper then incarceration and there is less stigma attached to going to treatment when you don't have to worry about going to jail.

Apr 22, 2009 - Because America is in Afghanistan, there will be a lot of returning US troops addicted to heroin.You have to get the illegal drug users to instead take legal opiates like oxycontin so it is clean and measured, then reduce the amounts slowly to get them off of it.
