Nov 14, 2011 - Leavell's piano solo is OFF THE HOOK. I think he was 17 or 18 when they recorded this. Saw the Allman Bros three times in the late 70's. It really was a dream come true for me when they got back together because they were my favorite band.

Mar 17, 2012 - A few of my friends did not like ABB, I tease them still! What I remember is this was the first Fillmore Concert that the Allmans did after Duane passed. What was so great was they brought in Chuck Leavell. When they did Southbound, the audience was awestruck! D. Betts never played better. As far as the end Mountain Jam...I don't remember! was just to blown away on how they played so great after Duane!
