I spent about $2k total on my late 2009 13" MacBook Pro (which included an extended Apple Care plan as well as the iWorks '09 programs) and it's still running perfectly fine to this day. I've had no problems whatsoever. It's like they always say "you get what you pay for." Can't be anymore truer with Apple products.

But what im saying is that apple can have a small monopoly with their os, something microsoft can't, it's perfect for apple.

May 16, 2012 - I think its a pretty cool concept as long as they don't waste memory on unnecessary processes like vista. Would like to see them work with Steam to create a Pro-gamer OS; both parties have strengths that would create a worthy piece of software. Windows of course for their knowledge of a full OS and Steam for their knowledge of a gamer interface, and creating modularity within game play.

Is this due to the fact that I am running it on a Mac, or the way I am running it? Or is it just because the Windows 8 Beta is still buggy?
