May 21, 2012 - 6 album's in 3 years. Help, Rubber soul, revolver, M.M. tour, Sgt. Pepper, White album (Aug 1965- Nov. 1968). Each album, better than the one before. And to go from Love me do to A day in the Life in just 4 or 5 years, is incredible. 6 album in 3 years. Most bands nowadays, come out with an album every 1-2 years. And they suck. Maybe one or two good songs on it. Some bands dont even release 6 albums throughout their career.... WOW!!!

As if 1963 hadn't been hectic enough, British Beatlemania was then replaced by worldwide adulation in 1964 and to satisfy/cash in on this demand (which at the time may have been seen as temporary) they were expected to complete their first film, their first world tour and release this album in time for Christmas whilst their previous album was still top of the UK charts. It's little wonder they look so tired on the cover and chose such a sardonic title.
