Feb 1, 2012 - Saw Stevie at Palace Theater in '83; I worked cross-street @ Capitol where he'd just done the lead on Bowie's Let's Dance. Nobody knew him 'cept us axe guys - word was just building and 1st LP just dropped. I will always remember the smell of the ozone from his cranked Marshalls from my seat about 20ft. away. You could taste the loud, kinda like hot chrome.
