Jan 23, 2010 - This song was based upon a song called I Lie in The American Land written by my great Andrew E. Kovaly from McKeesport, PA in the early 1900's. Pete Seeger visited our family to research this song and get permission from my grandfather to record it. Bruce never gave any credit to my great grandfather for the song, which is unfortunate. Nonetheless, it's a great song.
