May 16, 2012 - Is it possible to fill a 4D area with 1D line?
BlackMaidenTallica Says:
May 16, 2012 - Contrabass dummy. Pizzicato
MysteryR000 Says:
May 17, 2012 - I thought the formula for the "volume" of a circle was (pi)r^2
blueburaq Says:
May 18, 2012 - you cant tell depth(demension) when looking through one eye. it just that you taught yourself to determine how far something is. when looking through one eye, you are looking through one eye through a straight line. but when looking through two eyes, its TWO lines towards one object. thats why it looks three dimensional!

May 18, 2012 - ahjahahahahahhahah

May 18, 2012 - fail1-length2-length+height3-length+height+depthif 2D were length+width, then it would be like living on a piece of paper and looking at it at an angle, sitting on a desk... which obviously can't exist in 2D.
XenotechStudios Says:
May 18, 2012 - thats inpposible to unerstand
derek19062 Says:
May 18, 2012 - You are measuring 3D in 3D, that's why you know it is 3D. If you measure 3D in 2D, you will never know it is 3D because the 3rd dimension isn't exist in a 2D space. FAIL.
derek19062 Says:
May 19, 2012 - That's the area.
MysteryR000 Says:
May 19, 2012 - Ok. But then what is the "volume" of a circle. I thought 2D objects dont have a volume
Slowatia Says:
May 19, 2012 - The '~' means 'proportional to', so the constant of proportionality (the pi) can be left out
MysteryR000 Says:
May 19, 2012 - Thank you
jovtoly Says:
May 20, 2012 - How can you have a one-dimensional curve? I would think that "one-dimensional" and "curve" are a contradiction.
cschumacr Says:
May 21, 2012 - If you're going to be a smart ass, do it right. "...the 3rd dimension ISN'T exist..." Fail.
thatguy3256 Says:
May 22, 2012 - I believe that is a cello of sorts
derek19062 Says:
May 22, 2012 - No no no.... The 3rd dimension does exist, it is that you don't know *which* one is the 3rd one... so... SUCCESS? LOL
cschumacr Says:
May 23, 2012 - You trollin' bro?
dRex002 Says:
May 25, 2012 - was thinking a double bass
pounchoutz Says:
May 25, 2012 - You just made me nostalgia so hard.
SuperAirsoftCanada Says:
May 25, 2012 - i know how to watch a 4D movie..... A FUCKING PLAY! Or just somehow put someone in the movie following the main characters in their seat (i just mind raped and confused myself) :D
CeonDustrial Says:
May 26, 2012 - thats a little bit complicatedfor example a line can be one-dimensional too if you can describe every position of this line by 1 coordinatebut if this line is a curve with a repetive design so you can follow this curve unit after unit, you could describe every point in 2D by just one coordinateyou mustnt think in lenght/depth/high, merely in a mathmatical way of dimension
sireweezsmucker1 Says:
May 27, 2012 - more like a Tuba playing as you follow around a fat person type of thing
k3v1nfbr Says:
May 28, 2012 - Am I the only one who doesn't understand this? ;(

DragonsAndStuff Says:
May 16, 2012 - surprisingly, my headache's gone down since watching these.science doesn't hurt me, stupidity does.
