The DVD and Blu-ray are the first ever Slash solo live video releases, and the separate double CD is his first live album to get a general release. All formats feature tracks from the recent "Slash" album (including the single "By The Sword"), Slash's Snakepit and Velvet Revolver and several Guns'n'Roses' classics including "Sweet Child O' Mine".Filmed at the Victoria Hall in Stoke On Trent on July 24th, this concert marked Slash's return to the town in which he grew up. The show came towards the end of his 2010/11 world tour in support of his debut solo album "Slash". Lead vocals on the tour were handled by Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge and the setlist featured tracks from Slash's solo album, from his albums with both Slash's Snakepit and Velvet Revolver and classic songs that he co-wrote for Guns'n'Roses. Apr 20, 2012 - its not about how technically good Slash is(though he is brutal in that respect too, a lot more mature than he is given credit for), its about how the band sounds, these guys are playing Rock and Roll faithfully that's why people love it, that's why it makes the hair on my arms go stiff. Music for people who love music. Simple.
