Description:
Since the fall of man, weve been in a power struggle with God over control. We surrender to God's will, but when His reality interferes with our daily lives, we jump right back in the drivers seat. Jan 21, 2012 - actually hope means to desire with expectation of obtainment. We Christians hope for something because we are confident that God will provide for us just the way He provides for you. So the "HOPE" you used is something that is sure. So basically, what you're hoping will not happen because no one can stop the kingdom of God from growing. Seasons may past, time may fly, years may come by but the Word of God will never fade.

sweetsweatyfeet Says:

Jan 21, 2012 - "the Word of God will never fade".Not the word of "god", but conceived and designed by bronze age savages to seize control of your mind and your will in order to establish theocracy. You only believe these fables because you WANT to (which is why anyone still clings to them). But contrary to your opinion, Christianity IS in unprecedented decline especially among the young. Not as much in the US as elsewhere but still significant while atheism has more than doubled in two decades.

sirvashx2 Says:

Jan 22, 2012 - My friend, I think cannot argue anymore because I think I've done enough in my part to tell you the truth. I pray that this year the light may come upon you and your heart be open to God. :)

sweetsweatyfeet Says:

Jan 22, 2012 - There is not a shred of evidence for any of the ludicrous bronze age dogma you Christians have been conned into believing---just wishful thinking and dogmatic assertions which ring hollow to men of reason. Your built in bullshit detector is sadly out of order but reality is always there waiting for you to rediscover..

Feb 8, 2012 - Wow. This has been a battle for me for a very long time. I am such a control freak, and I am afraid to just finally let go and let God take the wheel. Thank you for this, this is an eye opener. God Bless You :)

hailthefsm Says:

Feb 10, 2012 - Next time your driving let god take the wheel, and maybe some of the dumber people will start disappearing. :). If you really let Jesus make the decisions you would be donating to charity, living as a minimalist, walking the earth helping people because you love humanity, not because youll get to go to "heaven"

Jesus0is0my0Savior Says:

Feb 17, 2012 - @sweetsweatyfeet You do realize that the Bible was compiled over thousands of years... and most of that time was spent on the opposite side of control? The Israelites were slaves to the Egyptians in Exodus and although in Jerusalem there were Hebrew leaders, there was never any exertion of power over people who weren't Jewish. Even when Jesus was in His ministry days did He not want to create political dominance. Mark 12:17 shows His stance on government. Jesus did not come for political power.

Jesus0is0my0Savior Says:

Feb 17, 2012 - @sweetsweatyfeet The reason Jesus came was because God is madly in love with you. The story of the Bible is all about how we fail and He is infallible. Read the Bible without prejudice. Read the Gospel of Matthew without any prior judgmental thoughts and read the Bible for what it says. Then decide. If you've already somehow read the Bible, try reading the New Testament from the beginning and pray God show you something. He just might...

KharamelSueno Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - For a number of Christians...myself included...Its' not merely us believing in thin air...I know God is real, and my "evidence" came to light when i chose to believe first...because there is a logical reason that people follow God... something in them changed when they believed....and there are no statistics on this planet that can change what God has shown me....So as you believe that we believe a con...wonder to yourself what makes us cling so strong to something so "obviously false" ?

KharamelSueno Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - Perhaps you are missing whats clearly obvious to those who love Him in regards to who He is and His existence. If you truly wanted to see Him, you would...He loves you but if you don't want Him, He won't force you to search for Him. However, His reality, His arms, His love is always there waiting for you to experience His power and embrace. I promise you it will be the biggest mistake of your life to ignore the countless testimonies of his existence and not investigate why people believe so much

sweetsweatyfeet Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - You and followers of many other religions all staunchly assert it's truth and life changing effects. How has it not occurred to you that belief itself can be profoundly motivational? People often believe some of the silliest nonsense yet but it is their strong commitment to it that causes the changes you refer to.None of this has anything to do with evidence, only that you are passionate about your belief. When you assert belief as knowledge you are on your way down the road of delusion.

sweetsweatyfeet Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - Also, I strongly disagree that people are profoundly changed by their religious "experience". From my perspective I've never found newly converted Christians to be improved---most often, it's quite the contrary. They're still fettered with the same afflictions, neurosis and human frailties despite that in their own minds they feel they have changed. Such is the power of delusional thinking. It's always a shock to realize the way we see ourselves is nothing like the way others see us.

KharamelSueno Says:

Mar 31, 2012 - lol :D....I just told you how to get your evidence...I'm not passionate to thin air..<3 All I had to go on was that there is something that these people are experiencing that I want to know if its true or not, and it tested out to be true...I challenge you-investigate into why I am 100% sure in God (cuz He has moved in unbelivable ways, you can't call what I've seen delusion, its impossible...trust me!) Investigate the miracles, the experiences, and then decide whether you are 100% correct on it

sweetsweatyfeet Says:

Mar 31, 2012 - And I told you that people of other religions also claim the same thing for the same reasons---and are just as certain as you about the crap they believe. But is there no actual evidence? Nope, only feelings and speculations followed by baseless assertions.Claims for miracles are rooted in preconception, misapprehension and misinterpretation as Christians spin and distort reality making them perceive what they want to see. Video a REAL miracle and post it; that would be vastly more convincing.

SkrateBeastin Says:

May 16, 2012 - Listen - Christians, Agnostics, Atheists - you can't beat each other at each other's own game. Each side will provide "proof" for the existence/non-existence of a particular deity, but the root of all debate is epistemological. Theists are undoubtedly convinced that they "know" there is a God through personal experience, Non-theists are possibly convinced that they "know" or "think" there isn't one though personal experience, science, et cetera. It's a losing battle for either side.

Smarty2able Says:

May 18, 2012 - This skit was awesome. Keep it up. :-)
