Simply said, the controller takes away a large part of that potential as it's the inferior tool for 3D fps (as is the usually 30 fps limited current console hardware - that is a HUGE factor mind you). It's like having a choice between an axe and a chainsaw for cutting down trees, why would you even consider the former?

I doubt the console generation of FPS players today will ever appreciate how awesome this video is.My brother went to school with a guy who played in one of the clans in this video. He wasn't as good as the players featured in this video but was still DAMN good. He and my brother would play Q3 to warm up and then go play counter-strike and get kicked for supposedly cheating. Q3 is the best twitch gaming exercise.
