May 11, 2012 - I don't understand why one has to be "better" than the other. I'm a huge fan of both. Bird was the better rebounder and passer...Jordan was the better scorer and defender. Both were ridiculously competitive. And they may be the two best clutch players of all time. If you had to start a team with any one player in their prime, you really couldn't go wrong with either one of those two.

McHale and Parish were not on his rookie team either. When did Jordan ever try for 19-9-10? Jordan was the greatest individual player of all time....just not the greatest player for a 5 man roster.

May 22, 2012 - You can tell the HUGE difference in Bird's mobility from this year (85) to the next. He was never the same after he hurt his back digging his own driveway that summer. That makes what he did the last few years of his career so amazing. Any other player would have called it quits after his back problem.
