Nov 12, 2011 - Never knew Disintegration is drak wave but regardless I think it's one of the best albums of all time! =) The thing about todays pop music for me is just there's no statement, everything feels manufactured there's no D-I-Y feeling anymore, the whole "never give up" statement from Bieber has been done before, so has the "I was born this way be yourself" statement that Gaga shoves down peoples throat. Regardless of actual genre, I appreciate any kind of music that has a DIY ethic

Although I can be biased as I've always had an untainted grudge for the more mainstream record companies.

Mar 26, 2012 - It's strange, some people love the attention of being called a genius and others, like Robert Smith, don't really like the attention or being told that because you don't really like to be exalted that way, above others. I'm an artist, and I don't think I'm a genius by any means, but even people telling me I'm really talented or they really like my work it's to hard to bask in some sort of glow. I guess it's an introverted kind of view of things.

I don't know how I've made it this far without listening to their music. I've listened to all of their albums now, and I'm hooked.
