Apr 21, 2012 - A three piece band in the day that had their shit wired tight// They wrote these tunes from scratch, kinna like Metallica and this is a flat out bad ass tune even today...

MattHatter Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - Nah man, it was just a coincidence. As far as I know, GFR and Sabbath never played together until 1971 after both had a song called "Paranoid" out.

MattHatter Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - Ha ha ha! Yeah I've seen that speed selection on the old Magnavox stereos. What was 16 rpm for anyways? Wasn't it for big news broadcast records or something?

47tooter Says:

Apr 22, 2012 - Nah man , Grand Funk did Paranoid a year before Sabbath ,, And Sabbath did open Grand Funk when Sabbath were unknown .. was'nt coincidence that Sabbath put the nuclear sirens in their Paranoid album... just a ripoff.

MattHatter Says:

Apr 22, 2012 - Yeah I know everything you just said. What I said was I don't think GFR and Sabbath played a show together until 1971. GFR's "Paranoid" came out in Dec. of 1969 and Sabbath's "Paranoid" came out in the fall of 1970 (in the U.K.) and Jan. of 1971 here in the States (because the first album was still on the charts). I don't think Sabbath toured the U.S. in 1970, did they?

whirlwind454 Says:

May 4, 2012 - This song has the melody and riff from The Rocks entrance music. The rock says.

rene293647 Says:

franz909 Says:

May 8, 2012 - This sounds more like a Bass Song and we all know Mel Schacher was one of the best rock bassists around and the whole group was phenomenal ... great , creative hard rock from Detroit .

andnoeggs Says:

May 11, 2012 - boys always had some great finale endings !!!

Gizametalman Says:

May 12, 2012 - This song should be renamed like "EUPHORIA" instead "Paranoid" Or even better: "Paranoid in Euphoria State"

blacksabbbathfaaaan Says:

May 13, 2012 - .....GF railroad is an awsome band but Black Sabbath created heavy metal..and BLACK SABBATH SONGS are NOT a RIPP-OFF . they were just probably inspired by GR railroad.. (2 diffrent paranoids by 2 diffrent bands)

Darrylizer1 Says:

May 20, 2012 - I blew out my dad's speakers back in highschool with this album, the bass was mixed LOUD. Still have my vinyl.

Darrylizer1 Says:

May 20, 2012 - Ozzy doesn't worship anything except music and his wife. BTW Ozzy didn't write any of Sabbath's lyrics, that was all Geezer Butler.

Kakurame Says:

May 22, 2012 - One badass band

Kakurame Says:

May 22, 2012 - Do you realize this song's not eaven Ozzy's?

thedukeofno Says:

May 23, 2012 - Black Sabbath never toured in the US, or with Grand Funk prior to releasing their album Paranoid in late '70.

rafael cicarelli Says:

May 26, 2012 - Sempre tem otário pra criticar o som , gran funk também é uma grande banda .

47tooter Says:

May 27, 2012 - watch the youtube video " grand funk railroad hard rock heavy metal " and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath says they were playing in whiskey bars in front of 500 people and were unknown to opening for Grand Funk in front of 25,000.
