Mar 9, 2011 - Forget about the hip socket. Basically, when you turn out your feet, and bend your knees (plié), your knees should go straight over your toes. If they're pointing in a different direction than your toes, you are not turned out properly, and dancing like that could eventually damage your knees. Hope this helps! =)
