Sep 10, 2011 - I lived off Glenmary Drive, Spaudling Hill Rd. Can't believe my hometown is so devastated. My heart goes out to all my high school friends still there. I am currently online for information about giving help. God Bless all in Owego.

Sep 11, 2011 - I'm so sorry to see such devastation. It wasn't that long ago that the whole area flooded and there was all the controversy about the Brick Pond and the turtles. My best wishes for a speedy recovery for the residents and businesses.

FLOGURFACE Says:

Sep 18, 2011 - -You are living proof that ignorance and stupidity are alive and well. Anyone that can crack jokes at a time when people are suffering so severely is very telling of you. Have you lived in a shelter only to leave to spend the day cleaning out your uninhabitable home? Your food coming from handouts, if you were lucky enough to get that? I pity you. Undo this by going and volunteering to help someone that is cleaning out their home...you will gain an insight that you really need.

Sep 23, 2011 - Yes, thank you for saving that woodchuck/groundhog! Poor little guy looked as if he was in shock. We often forget that animals are flood victims too. I lost my car and countless other items--yet seeing that little critter on dry land was the first thing about this damn flood that lifted my heart a bit. so, thanks again.

mieleD Says:

Sep 23, 2011 - Oh, then TY for saving that little hedgehog.
