Jan 31, 2011 - I have used window screen with Titebond waterproof carpenters glue to make border designs for my tile floor. Turned out great and the floor has been in service for about 5 years with zero problems. The pieces were about 1/2 " up to about 3" square and about 36" long. Just put wax paper underneath and peel off when done. If the glue is use sparingly, it can take gentle handling in about 30 minutes. Don't coat the whole bottom of the tesserae. One good "drop" is enough.

Nov 30, 2011 - 1. Draw/print a pattern2. Lay out your mesh on the pattern/or see through plastic sheet3. Lay out your tiles of choice on the mesh/sheet4. Tape your tiles5. Flip it over6. Take off the mes/sheet7. Glue the backs of the tiles8. Place tiles on glass/a source base of choice and keep firm in place till stuck9. Let dry10. Take off the tape11. Grout your work12. Remove excess grout with damp cloth13. Seal your grout14. ....15. Profit!
