Mar 2, 2011 - when you do the double crochet decrease in the second row do you skip 2 still or just one? For some reason my stitches do not match in row 2 even though I made sure to count in the first row

Aug 2, 2011 - I want to start a blanket and I'm a beginner. When I make my chain is it in sets of 12?

tjw1963 Says:

Aug 2, 2011 - @jrains1106 Yes it would be sets of 12. The chances are great that you will not end up with an exact number so be prepared to sew in extra chains at the end.

srog1979 Says:

Sep 7, 2011 - I keep ending with an increase, not a decrease. how can I add to my starting chain without undoing all of my work? Thanks and LOVE your videos!

Jan 21, 2012 - how many chains would you think I would need to make a ripple baby blanket?

camio5959 Says:

Jan 24, 2012 - @tjw1963 i am making a blanket and i have 21 zig zags i did the first row like you said to but then when i tried to do the second row i would try to do the double crochet before the decrease and i would have to do four instead of five is that right?

tjw1963 Says:

Jan 25, 2012 - @camio5959 You should have 5 individual stitches on each slope. Open the video details below the video and you will see a link to my crochet blog. There are symbol instructions that represent the actual pattern. You can match your work to the symbol instructions.

Jan 30, 2012 - thank you for the very well instructed tutorial... I have tried numerous patterns and tutorials and had to unravel my project as it never worked out as imagined or hoped for due to the lack of the complete process or perfect instructions. Thank you, not only am I excited to start my blanket I am confident it will turn out perfect and not become a project to have to unravel.Again THANK YOU :)

rlthngbaby Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - @OboeLady86 you skip one

zhemlja Says:

Feb 6, 2012 - @tjw1963 i think it may be 32 or 33 cause i used 30 and i ended up 2 or 3 short :)
