Mar 20, 2012 - Wow!!! I have heard many, many version of this great and moving song, but Shirley Horn's rendition is most definitely way up there. The tempo is so slow but yet so perfect and solid! It was mesmerizing ... all 7 minutes and 39 seconds!!! Her delivery of the English lyrics brought tears to me eyes. I completely agree with Nancy Drew in her assessment that Horn draws you in and never lets you go.
