What heritage exactly is her mother & father?(i.e. I'm white, but when it comes to my heritage I'm French Canadian, German, Native American(Cherokee) & Irish/Scottish.) May 28, 2012 - her dad is african american and venezualin. her mom is irish-american. this is according to wikipedia. i don't mean to seem obsessed or anything, but i am also a singer. i grew up listening to mariah, celine, whitney, and other really great singers. i watched interviews growing up about my favorite singers, and for some reason, i remembered that about her from something she said like 10 years ago. my memory is weird.
