Now that said, I don't believe that detracts from their music because their lyrical arrangements are fairly unique. Their lyrics aren't really poetry or anything of that sort, but the band has a very distinct sound and that is really what modern music is missing. Emily markets herself in a way that still has sexual undertones, but is not "slutty".

I think I just wanted to point out that some of metric's songs are "raunchy and flagrant" but in an intelligent way-if that makes sense. I believe the song "Gold Guns Girls" would attest to that. I think I also wanted to point out that the way the band Metric markets itself is slightly different than the way the lead Emily markets herself. But yeah, what you said was fairly spot on.
