May 2, 2012 - God's not an inanimate object or a pet. That's why people don't call God "it". For this reason the capitalized pronouns "He" and "His" are used when referring to God, and are generally recognized as genderless. Thought that was common knowledge, even among non-Christians.

May 7, 2012 - your referring to god as a physical object that can be classified he/she...as a student of astralnautics i myself find the teachings of jesus and sayings from the bible about god being in us to be more literal than metaphor...the phyical realm is only a stepping stone for us to figure out US...to shed the weight of the earth and our egos....eventually culminating in becoming a christ like person(perfect human) and ascending further up through the "dimensional ladder."

May 7, 2012 - So you'd rather I refer to God as "it"? I am not responsible for the limited vocabulary in the English language that can describe God. "He" denotes a personality, emotion, self-consciousness and a living entity. I'd find the word "it" to be more rooted in the physical than the capitalized "He".God is in us. The Holy Spirit. The kingdom of Heaven is inside us. I agree with your conclusions, but I still find Jesus as the Son of God to be true and disagree with New Age beliefs that say otherwise.

May 24, 2012 - This was an idea before Bill Hicks talked about it. Look up Terence McKenna Stoned ape theory.. I think what Bill Hicks did was make the idea more accessible to people who did not know about this theory, and how we have evolved because of eating Mushrooms.
