Dec 16, 2011 - A decent PC is pretty cheap. I built mine for less than a low end Dell PC (spent like $400). I wouldn't go AMD at this point tho. Intel (with Sandy Bridge) is better right now.

Mar 8, 2012 - VSync is only useful if screen tearing bothers you. Personally, I like having 300 FPS in games like TF2 and CS:Source because 60 FPS feels too slow.
