Mar 21, 2012 - the 80's were a wonderful time to be alive. The world hadn't yet become such an evil place and the music reflected so much optimism for the future and it was fun not to mention that you could understand and dance to it. I wish we were there again but we passed that turn more than two decades ago and we will never get back there again.

May 6, 2012 - we were shocked, too, at first, at the HOLV show at chicago. nothing like the recorded versions. but, then, like everything they do, it turned out AMAZING, and it was just liz going crazy, like some sort of 4AD scat, every syllable impromptu and warbled. she's incredible.
