Apr 21, 2012 - The cat clearly has an eating disorder. Yes cats do get them. From abuse or understimulation they can develop them. My main coon will stuff him self to oblivion if allowed to do so. I've gotten an automatic feeder for him and he promply broke into it. Cats are smart and need stimulation or else they'll find it in other ways. I've had to put my cat on a diet and make sure to schedule exercise time with him for 30 minutes a day. (Just like people!) And I thought all cats did was lounge around...
