Aug 28, 2009 - I just said, the mayan calender had to be like 5000 and something years long to be accurate every day, and 2012 is when it can restart the cycle
pauldcastro Says:
Aug 28, 2009 - I agree with you. Totally.
dimetr1 Says:
Aug 30, 2009 - All of the theories about 2012 are all Hocus Pocus and bad science. You hear everything from spiritual enlightenment, planet x, asteroid, comet, polar shift, cataclysmic catastrophes... The list goes on. December 21, 2012 is just another day.

Sep 1, 2009 - The least amount of sunlight only in the Northern Hemisphere in South America in the Southern Hemisphere this is the Summer Solstice. We can't be aligned with the Milky Way we are in it, so there is nothing to align with. TBH I think the only reason they stopped making the calendar at that date (which is, after all only our interpretation of their calendar) is because they ran out of rock.
Sethtardz Says:
Sep 1, 2009 - Let me correct myself on the Milky Way thing, I meant to say all major (large) masses will be alligned. I'm not going to go and talk about this being the end of the world or anything, just something to think about, or wait and see if any major occurence does effect earth. :)

Sep 6, 2009 - u really think that the mayans had the mental capacity to device these calendars? what i think is that Atlanteans helped the Mayans with this tech calendar...i have been told this by some adepts...

dinocajic Says:
Sep 7, 2009 - I think it's a rather interesting video (illustrating the power of the human imagination). My questions are:1. How can someone be certain in what was illustrated by diving the 'pyramid' in layers and then dividing those layers in 13 segments? (I want to know how this assumption came to be).2. Even if the symbols were deciphered, how were they deciphered (since that looks like an extremely complicated calendar to decipher)?3. What if a mistake was made in deciphering?Too many questions.

Sep 9, 2009 - I'll freely admit I don't subscribe "lock, stock and barrel". And I can't claim to know what Lungold believed was the true L,S and B of his findings. I waded into the assignment and feel I did find "welcoming" waters of promise that perhaps the Mayans had somehow tuned in to a really cool "radio station" ...somewhere off the the local path. It might not be so bad to listen for awhile. An angle I'm comfortably ambivalent...but, no harm in looking around for awhile. Please

xTHEBOZx Says:
Sep 11, 2009 - Guys the world is not going to end in 2012. The Mayans just didn't know that the world would last this long the world will not end. Unless we plummet into the sun!
x24val Says:
Sep 12, 2009 - Thanks for the comment, but this video doesn't "say" and (me) the producer of this video don't believe at all that the world is ending in '12 ...that's one for the moon bats!! Don't group me with "them" ...please

Aug 27, 2009 - Y2K was just because we simply entered year 2000.But, one of the mayan gods was the god of death, don't you find it strange that they chose a super-nova as the god of death? And the section of the calendar ends on December 21st 2012? December 21st has the least amount of sunlight, it gets dark around 4:30 p.m. on December 21st every year, but for a last time we are aligned with the sun, the milky way, and so many other things. (happens every 20,000 years, but thought never to happen again.)
