May 5, 2011 - @xxSerpenttinexxIf that was true, the republicans would have come out of it and sailed to an easy victory last election.
JimmyeDallas Says:
May 5, 2011 - It's very likely they just executed him to avoid the inevitable media drama and difficult scrutiny of a protracted trial, that likely would've had a very divisive impact on American politics and potentially hurt many American foreign policy interests.

May 5, 2011 - I think it's fucked up that they framed the poor guy, then almost 10 years later some SEAL Team came through his door and popped him dead...

May 5, 2011 - If he was framed, he must have enjoyed it, because he proudly took responsibility for the crime. Most people who are framed don't confess guilt. Same with the embassy bombings. I understand the US does awful things, arguably the worst, but others do too. They can't all be false flags.
slovokia Says:
May 5, 2011 - Tariq Ali is the long lost twin of Noam Chomsky.
slovokia Says:
May 5, 2011 - Thankfully the American people do not have to rely on these folks to protect them from Islamist terror groups.
ShinEmperor Says:
May 5, 2011 - In my opinion... Bin Laden is just the beginning of the the most brutal and horrific war mankind will ever see. There will be untold destruction and fear... two of the great Civilizations are going to have it out. The West and the East. There will be no winners... just survivors.
slovokia Says:
May 6, 2011 - Maybe they are if you share their view of reality and how one can influence it. I do not.

phooey108 Says:
May 8, 2011 - how is that a bad thing? he is a much needed voice in political discourse. I've never seen him (or chomsky) on on any american network. (which is rather revealing, if you ask me. just like this channel's exclusion from the US market is also revealing, given the fact that RT, widely available in the US, has a far more anti-american slant)
slovokia Says:
May 9, 2011 - I consider Tariq Ali and Noam Chomsky. to be prototypical leftists ready to blame all the problems of humanity on either capitalism or US foreign policy - they do not use consistent moral standards to judge the actions of various players on the worlds stage. There is a large market for their commentary in groups that need to believe all evil in the world is traceable to the USA for various reasons (national pride, incapacity to admit faults in ones own cultures etc etc).

GiantSandles Says:
Jun 20, 2011 - How would national pride factor into it, when Noam lives in the United States and Tariq in Britain (a country that often supports US goreign policy)?
