Like all blues greats Stevie borrowed from the greats before him, paid tribute, and developed his own style. If you hear Albert King in his playing it was an intentional nod or tribute, not an attempt to steal. He also wrote his own blues classics and could lay down some mean jazz to boot. My bet is that Albert King would call your ignorant statement foolish.

Mar 5, 2012 - This album changed my life. Before I bought this back in the early 90's, I was buying friggin' Debbie Gibson records! I probably shouldn't have admitted that, but it's the truth. SRV opened up a world of blues to me and changed my life forever for the better. I am eternally indebted to him. Thanks, Stevie. God rest your soul.
