Feb 12, 2012 - Firstly "pushing the envelope" is a common journalistic phrase, Secondly most news networks tend to report directly from official press releases as it's easier that way, and finally there was only about 4 maybe 5 independant networks there, most of the rest were affiliates of the others and they tend to write up a single script for all affiliates. Just the networks being laxy and using a common phrase tbh. It's amusing when put together like that but nothing unusual.

There is no investigative journalism any more to sift through the govt. propaganda and look for the truth. They are not reporters but repeaters. Taken to the extreme, this is how you get "embedded" reporters in the military. Ironically, they wind up "in bed" with the Pentagon. That is the story here, not "laziness."
