Mar 13, 2010 - For those who don't know, the 8th congressional district is basically an area right next to Washington DC. It includes most of Montgomery County and a small part of Prince George's County. It tends to be a rather liberal area, especially the Takoma Park area, even though they have previously elected a Republican, Connie Morella. But she is often considered to be a liberal Republican.

Mar 14, 2010 - solimiansky: "so if corporations are people we can prosecute them and put them in jail and take them to criminal court and not civil! "Nope. The beauty of corporations is that they're now "people" but carry no personal liability. (That's why they are formed.) So I don't believe that even their designated human could be held liable for misdeeds (like, go to jail).

Mar 17, 2010 - a level of fascism so powerful it would awe even Mussolini. That's what happens when corporations aren't treated as crime syndicates and worse, when people forget what Fascism is. So many Americans harp on about SOCIALISM. Socialism is HEALTHY and efficient, and has nothing to do with this crap. This is FASCISM.

Jul 24, 2010 - Look, we probably have gone a little too far in giving certain privileges and benefits to corporations; however, when you tax and regulate something as stringently as we do business in this or any other country, they have every right to lobby the gov't and whatnot. They shouldn't be allowed to run for office and give campaign contributions directly, but they should have some discretion. No taxation without representation. Remember that?
pathscorp Says:
Nov 7, 2010 - Tom.Citizens need a corporation that works for them. Paths Corporation is a corporation design "FOR" citizens. Type "pathscorp" in the search box above, to see our videos.Spread the word.

Jan 13, 2011 - Hay Congress instead of pass the bills how about contributing - how about a payment
mcc1789 Says:
Jan 18, 2011 - The people who "own" corporations have the representation, got it? The corporate person itself does not exist except as a legal fiction. The limited liability of the corporation is a government-granted privilege, thus the "double tax". If they don't like it, being another kind of business (such as partnership) is always open. Apparently they do think it's worth the extra tax though. What people forget is that this is a regulation itself-"for" business! Which most is-at least for some...
rickbar123 Says:
Mar 18, 2011 - YouTube "Linfen China" and see what little regulation looks like.
endtyrany Says:
May 2, 2011 - Its not the ruling that is idiocy its government that is idiocy. It is all about slavery and we have gone backwards. The corporations now have rights and soon people wont and that is what these corporations have been trying to do for a long time now. Corporations have destroyed the people of the USA with their thieving ways and now we are going to let them stick their greedy fingers into our pockets. OMG we are so damn dumb. How much more before we will stand up to them?
