Jul 17, 2010 - love the show, i've seen every episode. but it also perpetuates at least two negative stereotypes: 1.) firefighters aren't all badasses. courageous, hard-working and noble? yes. asshole, tough-guy bar brawlers? not at all. 2.) hockey is not nearly as popular as the show suggests. it ranks 4 or even 5 on the sports hierarchy among the vast majority of american sports fans.
