Flat screens LCDs are better because CRT's and Plasmas are fairly dangerous to put your hand through.

Your hand would have to be small enough that you are legally an infant and thus incapable of understanding the Easter Egg to fit through the hole, but that is not my target audience and I highly doubt there is an infant who is trying this out.
