Dec 29, 2011 - i think this goes under "conversations i wouldn't have if i used the metric system instead of the imperial and my poorly developed brain"
schmui Says:
Dec 29, 2011 - @gypsychris1031 what are you even trying to say?
mirex951 Says:
Jan 10, 2012 - lol America

Jan 12, 2012 - @mainchow10 We dont by american cars, THEY SUCK!
mainchow10 Says:
Jan 12, 2012 - @gislemark79 Umm... american cars have both km/h and mph.
gislemark79 Says:
Jan 12, 2012 - @mainchow10 Yes, but they suck anyway.
mainchow10 Says:
Jan 13, 2012 - @gislemark79 Oh, I get it, it's because they have mph.
zhengjdc Says:
Jan 14, 2012 - @mxferro Majority Americans won't buy a chopper from your shop if you do *metric measurements* , only douchy bag commies have metric systems. This is why the chopper shop booms and yours will very likely close.Lol, sad but true. Apart from scientific community, majority Americans(your customers) HATE metric, despite they are mathematically challanged, they stick to pain-in-da-ass imperial while non can convert unit quickly.
zanuha Says:
Jan 18, 2012 - @zhengjdc Only the US has the imperial system. Xenophobic much?
SuperThe86 Says:
Jan 19, 2012 - @zhengjdc "Apart from scientific community, majority Americans(your customers) HATE metric,"Apart from sciencific community, the majority of Americans are STUPID and that's why they hate the metric system.
zhengjdc Says:
Jan 19, 2012 - @SuperThe86 I thought you have to be pretty intelligent to love imperial measuring...becoz all the conversions, you can't do them easily with your head...LMAO, sorry for being sarcastic.
Blurredman Says:
Jan 23, 2012 - @zanuha Nah, UK use alot of imperial (being the inventor of the measurement), however officially 'metric', there's still large use of measurements being carried out in Imperial. I use it myself, on purpose some of the time.
Autonova Says:
Jan 24, 2012 - this is why american cars can only get 200 horse power from a 6 litre V8.
LoneSniperFox Says:
Feb 1, 2012 - I'd rather say I have an 8inch dick than 203,000 millimeters. you can't visualize that.
MissFrancessCooper Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - @LoneSniperFox Nice to know that your dong is 20.3 centimetres xD
LoneSniperFox Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - @MissFrancessCooper well just about. give or take a centimeter. :P xD
janiheikkonen Says:
Feb 3, 2012 - Gimme a liter of cola!
bobri289 Says:
Feb 4, 2012 - @mroliverstephenson Uh, subtract 1746 from 1842 to get the difference in mL. How is that hard? 1842-1746=96. There is 96mL difference.
Ihtiandr13 Says:
Feb 5, 2012 - Stoned
bobri289 Says:
Feb 5, 2012 - @LoneSniperFox You can't visualize that because no one has one that big... That is 203 meters or 222 yards.
LoneSniperFox Says:
Feb 5, 2012 - @bobri289 you obviously didn't get the joke
candIejac Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - @LoneSniperFox That's the only imperial unit that caught on, Dick measurements is in inches world wide.
SSEF15 Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - I remember when an American exchange student decided to learn A-level Physics with us. We were supposed to measure 2 pieces of constantan wire and naturally he used inches, one was 3 1/4" and the other was 2 1/3". He got stuck in the maths so I had to explain to him that to find the total length he had to convert to top heavy fractions (13/4 +7/3) then he had to find a common denominator so its (39/12+28/12) and then he had to simplify, he then got bored and asked if he could borrow my mm ruler.

Dec 16, 2011 - Then why is eveything American built more desirable world wide loss on the metric system.
