Apr 29, 2011 - This was so fucking surreal to watch. I can't hardly believe how they acted.

BastienNewton Says:

May 1, 2011 - I'm glad there are principled people to stand up for truth and rational inquiry. I just can't believe what I'm seeing

bvssvni Says:

Jul 20, 2011 - I love your tie.

larrybud Says:

Jul 22, 2011 - I think Jan should conduct all of the Presidential debates!

sternumagnum Says:

Jul 26, 2011 - The reaction of that congressman and his entourage is the reaction of people who haven been caught totally unprepared. Those guys clearly cannot articulate what they think beyond standard, stock phrases so they get frustrated when pressed to expand on their ideas. For someone who has deep and wide knowledge of what he talks about, the way Helfeld conducts his interviews would not be a problem at all.Yes, ph.action is often justified against actions/situations that are equivalent to ph.force.

edgardusXII Says:

Aug 8, 2011 - Torres' Press Secretary knows nothing about freedom of speech and inquiry. What an immature and oppressive being.

swu880 Says:

egervari Says:

Dec 1, 2011 - Congressman Torres is a thug.

Avnatanyel Says:

Jan 29, 2012 - :48 he says in response to whether individual citizens should have the right to initiate force against another non-aggresing individual that individuals should act according to their moralistic, religious and other positions. Sounds like a violence free-for-all for those who hold that such is moral, religiously positive or hold such a "position." Torres may be an idiot but he was pretty honest about his acceptance of the initiation of violence in priciple - and then he exemplified it. +45K yay!

Avnatanyel Says:

Jan 29, 2012 - BTW, I'm glad you won and I'm sorry to see you were treated so egregiously.

janhelfeld Says:

Jan 29, 2012 - good point. thank you.

t4509228 Says:

Feb 3, 2012 - Wow. I would love to be able to say I'm surprised these thug types are at such high levels of government... but I'm not surprised. At all.

RestoreReality Says:

Feb 3, 2012 - Now you just need to interview Michael Moore!

jbiddleston Says:

Feb 22, 2012 - Jan, your method is excellent!

EGarrett01 Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - None of them want to face Helfield because their points of view are based on illogical emotion, antiquity and popularity. They hold ideas that feel good, are old, or that other people like...and they don't examine whether they actually make logical sense at the core.I hope he does this to every bureaucrat he can get his hands on...because each failure and evasion by them underlines the lesson that these men are NOT wise elites. People like Jan are our line of defense against nonsense.

jdb457 Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - I love watching your videos Jan. I watched this one tonight for the first time. Wow... I can't believe that we have people working in this capacity that behave in this fashion. Surely the founding fathers are rolling in their graves over this. I know that what you do is truly in the spirit of what makes this country great and I want to thank you for what you do. We need more people like you. You're amazing. Keep up the good work!!!!!

janhelfeld Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - Thank you for the praise. Please tell your friends.

MirageScience Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - People can't handle real journalism, let alone 1 serious question. You do good work, and deserve a much much larger audience.

janhelfeld Says:

Apr 22, 2012 - Thank you for the praise. Can you help me promote my videos by telling your friends and contacting media outlets? Our country depends on as many freedom fighters as we can muster and spreading the message.

joetorio Says:

Apr 23, 2012 - Man I wish Jan could host a GOP debate.

RAMB0IV Says:

Apr 23, 2012 - Jan Helfeld at the Hearth of Corruption. It serves the corporate interests to have people of low character in public office. Narcists and psychopaths do not care about the people, they only care about their own life and that means that they are easily bribed to do anything. That's why Saddam Hussein was allowed to rule for so long until he developed an concience and started demanding something else for his oil than american dollars.Same thing with Libya, except Gaddafi wanted gold for oil.
