Jan 17, 2012 - @Bbfishman Well when a woman gets pregnant, they gain a lot of weight in the stomach area in order to protect the baby when it's in the womb (it's kind of like there is a layer of fat surrounding the baby). So after they deliver the baby, they do lose some weight, but they still have the leftover fat that usually requires diet and exercise to get rid of.
